好久沒有更新我的BLOG了，忙完一個學期之後現在終於有了點時間來休整一下。 不過，一周之後新的學期就又開始了。時間就在這匆忙中流逝， 一點都沒來得及體會，想想兩個月之後整個MBA的學習就過了一半了。 真的是快！從下個學期開始，大家都可以自由地選擇自己喜歡的課程了。除此之外，大多數同學還得繼續為了暑假的實習機會而努力。到目前為止，大家拿OFFER的情況很不令人滿意。找到了INTENSHIP的都還不錯，問題是有70%的人還沒搞定。學校的CMC上學期也連續發EMAIL告訴大家，去年有70%的INTERN都是在三月及之後搞定的，希望如此吧。
關於找INTERN，總的看來，以前的工作背景還是非常重要。對於career switcher來講，投資銀行和咨詢服務可能是兩個最「不」看重過去的背景的行業。但是這種「不」看重也是相對的，有經驗的要比沒經驗的競爭力強的多。其他的各行各業，基本是按照過去的經驗來選人了。MBA是很多想轉換職業的人的希望，可是，想說服一個僱主在面對無數具有行業背景的申請人的情況下，來招一個毫無本行業/職位經驗的人來做一份工作，這難度還是相當大的。所以，想把MBA作為一個理想的職業跳板的各位還是要有思想準備。>>>>>

Totally agree. For students coming from Asia directly, it's extremely competitive to get into IBD/Consulting. Asian branch are usually with a very tight headcount. Unlike their US/EU branch, asian branch are unable to hire a pool of students given resource constrain. Therefore they expect to hire people with prior related working experience.

This is the typical problem we will face in the U.S. Duke is not the only one school which has this kind of situation. However, from the history point, at the end of the day, students will find their summer intern, if s/he continues to make efforts.

而且最好是你喜歡的公司,做得好直接變正職
