這是很典型的迷惑型考題
題目在第二行己經清楚說明"並非婚姻讓人們長壽"這才是argument
而是年輕人在結婚的時侯，通常少有不健康導致短命的習慣(第三第四行)

要找增強的，那當然是 E啦，那些既不抽煙也不喝酒的人，即便不結婚也活得和結婚的人一樣久

B講到結婚就會放棄壞習慣，與原題的argument不合

D不好的地方我覺得是
Among people who marry as young adults, most of those who give up....指的是放棄壞習慣的人,大部分都不會再犯這麼做,他沒跟你說其他沒放棄壞習慣的人怎樣做,不能以部份人的行為推斷全體

這跟題目中arguent是不同的吧

小小意見:
如果答案是E的話，
不就無法得出原文的結果as compared with other people of the same age, young adults who are about to get married have fewer of the unhealthy habits，
因為兩種人的習慣是相同的話，
根本不能比出上面的結果。

B不能選的原因是，
married person指的應該是婚後的人give up，
而原文是young adults who are about to get married即將要結婚的人。

至於選D的原因是，
如果婚前give up unhealthy habits，
但婚後死灰復燃的話，
一樣達不到長壽的結論，
所以必須持之以恆==>而非marrige造成

這一題我還是想選 E 耶, 因為題目中的young adults who are about to get married have fewer of the unhealthy habits 是指婚前本來就沒什麼壞習慣的人, 而(d)選項提到的是people who marry as young adults, most of those who give up an unhealthy habit after marriage, 跟題目所談的對象不太一樣, 反倒是有點傾向支持婚姻使人改變壞習慣.
不知道大家想法是怎樣, 要不要繼續討論一下 ??
