Interview Details
Interview Date: Feb 12
Interviewer: A Duke Alumnus
Location: Taipei
Duration: 80~90 minutes
Interview questions:
1. Describe yourself by going through your resume. (specifically asked about the collegiate leadership positions and major accomplishments)
2. Describe the business model of your firm. How many staff are you supervising currently?
3. Describe an ordinary day in your workplace. (daily tasks, staff meeting, managerial decision, consultation discussion…etc)
4. Describe a failure and what did you learn from the experience.
5. How did you learn about Duke? Why did you apply for Duke MBA? How does it fit into your career goals? Why joint program?
6. Explain a managerial dilemma and how did you overcome the difficulty.
7. Present several examples about your charismatic leadership styles.
8. How do you train the new member of your team? What did you do to form a cohesive bond among each member of your team?
9. Show an example that you confront directly with your supervisor? How did you convince your supervisor?
10. Would you describe yourself a leader or a team player? Why?
