該如何判斷的問題

that 是指owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land is still a goal。但我個人認為，問題不在於that，而是在於動詞可不可省

若是省，變成前幾代和最近一代同時發生，如果把動詞保存，並改is為was，可能比較合句意

選D的理由很簡單，準確表達因果關係
至於你的問題，they就句意可清楚指代workers, employer是指雇主，句意上不通的，指代就可自動跳過，沒有問題

如果句意可以判斷指代是帶誰.. 就ok

一個句子裡有兩個it,但是應該要指代的N不同 就是歧異?
那如果我可以從句意裡面判斷出兩個it分別代表什麼 降子算不算歧異阿?

可以麻煩說明一下E為何式限定用法的錯誤使用?

不是的 !

一般我們看文章的時候 ,都可以用常理判斷主詞為誰 ,但考sentance correction

務求 精確 , ETS 的句型規定比較嚴格, 有[highlight=violet]代名詞優先代替句子主詞的通則[/highlight]

典型大家都會提到的錯誤句型,參見OG SC 火山在信件中爆發 一题

一個句子裡有兩個it,但是應該要指代的N不同 就是歧異?

醬容易造成同一個代名詞代替不同主詞的ambiguity , 不過以此為準則太空泛

, 因句型的變化也可能造出類似句子但屬正確的句子(GWD有题)

那如果我可以從句意裡面判斷出兩個it分別代表什麼 降子算不算歧異阿?

小學老師都可以看出小朋友寫的七零八落句子是啥句意,不過 ,還是會送個大X ,同理 ^^

可以麻煩說明一下E為何式限定用法的錯誤使用?

OG的題目裡就真的有指代不清卻是正確答案的
就像大陸人說的語法改錯有時是
帥哥裡挑最帥的,矮子裡挑將軍...
答案是比出來的...

不同觀點大家參考：

我認為指代不清是一項很嚴重的錯誤
這是ETS挑的很明的準則

當然,偶爾會出現指代不是那麼模糊的句子,不過,通常在這些句子中,我們可以很清楚的發現"指代錯誤"絕對不是題目的考點,句子一定是為了其他的考點作了修正 :也許是考平衡,也許是考固定搭配,也許是考特殊句型.

以我自身的經驗 , 我目前還沒遇過以考 "句意模糊" (得分數較高) 或 考"指代不請楚"為考點所設計的題目,卻出現"指代不清"的案例 ^^

當然 ,還是老話一句 : 句意為王道

但對 AT的入門者而言 ,若能好好掌握"指代清晰"的考點,想可以在短期內有大突破 應非難事

這裡前後句已經用 ; 隔開 第二個 it 還是一定要指 eye ?
