From our end, interview invites that have been released over the past 5 business days:

Columbia Jan 2008 x 2 (Taiwan)
Columbia Fall 2009 ED x 1 (Taiwan)
IESE x 1 (Taiwan, interview location HK)

*there are at least 2 J-term 08' admissions from Columbia already

So far no, but I don't think HBS releases interviews so early in the process.

Went to MBA tour today in Hong Kong to support Wharton admission team. They told me so far for round 1, they receive 20% more application than last year. It seems to be another competitive year. Good luck to everyone.

Yeah, met with a few marketing/adcom people at top schools in Tokyo & Taipei in Sept & Nov. Everyone is reporting and expecting a continuing surge in applicants. Applicants will likely surge in later rounds and also for Fall 2009.
