他的意思是說,because of +N1 and N2,很明顯的 its worry concdrning(名詞) 是of 的受詞,然而,also concerning the failure~這裡的concerning是作動詞,改成ing的形式當of 的受詞,顯然不平行,也就是 because of +N1 also Ving ~

另外,本人小小的建議,樓上的同學似乎會去拜讀每一句ETS的解釋,儘管是很明顯錯的答案,可是這樣你會浪費很多時間,只要你知道錯在哪,結構錯, 文法錯,還是句意錯,關於ETS太細微的解釋其實不需理會,除非你真的不知錯在哪.
修辭也是有公式的,找出萬用功式就好,畢竟目的只是求高分

根據我的經驗，最好是把OG裡面每一個選項的ETS解釋都看通透，而且還要做橫向總結，這樣才會增進功力。否則你很可會發現，未來在作PP3時，會錯一大堆。

ETS的出題範圍不會超過OG，只是可能會隱藏在OG的某題中的某個選項的不起眼處。

答案是(C)

我的問題是在(B)(E)中，用", also" 來連接前後兩個，這樣不是很奇怪嗎？怎麼可以沒有and 呢？
但是在OG解釋中並沒有把這點視作錯誤點

請教各位大大為什麼會這樣...

(B)答案選項中有being,此種選項盡量少選,因為不夠簡潔
至於(E)則出現because of,當其出現because of時,其後一定只接名詞,所以不會有Ving此種句型出現,因此不能選此答案

我對題目翻譯不是很懂
我大概翻一下
現在的管理部門,擔心(1)有些國際交易的阻礙被移除(2)我國的出口沒有增加.....
那為什麼要擔心(1)??
那個不是優點嗎?
還是我翻錯了?

p.s. 在cd找到這句
目前的管理者，担心外贸壁垒的消失和(因为美元贬值导致增加)出口的失败，组成了一个研究提高我们竞争力方法的小组。

要這樣想:外貿屏障消失意思是本身競爭優勢減弱,別人便宜的東西很容易就打入美國市場.至於為何競爭優勢(=屏障)減弱,原因可以很多:自由貿易協定即是一例, WTO 降低關稅壁壘又是一例,最惠國貿易合同,...
那美元貶值,照說出口要增加,為什麼不呢?!(因為競爭力不好囉!)所以要提高競爭力啊.
