請問 申請留學後 書面文件一定要用快遞嗎????

各位前輩

小弟正在申請2008年春季班, online申請都大致完成 現在要寄書面文件給美國的學校了 可是快遞一件要400元 成本有點高說 請問有前輩是用郵寄的嗎? 文件會不會弄丟阿??

You can use EMS, which is cheaper and you can still trace it on line.

嗯~我也是拼明年春季班的，目前也著手一些學校的申請，分享我的經驗一下:
我第一間學校因時間急迫的關係用fedex寄，0.5公斤以內皆算"文件"，均一價$705，大概不到2天就到(含寄件日)。
其次第二間我分DHL和郵局的快捷(也就是EMS);DHL在全省7-11有收件，30張A4紙的重量以內以文件計，計費以地區遠近不同而有所差，我寄德州花$614元，二天到(寄件日不算)。另外EMS的部分比較便宜也比較慢，我文件重40g它收我$300，但至少要5個工作天不含假日(寄件日不算)，因是我們的郵局寄到美國的郵局，再由它們的郵局分送至各分局處理，所以還要包含在當地可能會delay的時間，所以可能要花上7天。

What documents need to mailed before deadline? I thought you can do everything on-line to apply (including transcripts and recommendation letters), mailed originals are only required if you are admitted.

Am I wrong? (I didn't mail anything......)

It really depends on schools. Some schools reaquest you to mail the related documents in advance, some don't.

Concur above. Each school has its policy. The one require actual copies, school won't start recviewing your application until it receive completed documents.
