--The MBA process is dynamic. It changes year to year. But generally speaking, it gets harder and harder.
--690 on the GMAT is good, but it is NOT enough for international students, especially for Asian/Greater China/Taiwanese students to get into a top 15 program. (I am excluding USC, CMU, Emory, UNC and Austin)
--Are there people with 690 who have gotten into top 15 MBA/M7 programs? Yes, most definitely 10 years ago and maybe some people got in with sub-700 scores 3-4 years ago. But within the last 5 application years (entering Fall 2003-2007) and especially the last 2 years, I'd say that the percentage is extremely low. By low I mean, less than 10% of the total admitted students from Taiwan).
