人太多，排不到duke (fuqua) alumini interview…

不幸地，我接到通知說，因為太多人申請與校友面試，所以沒辦法安排我進行面試…。但email中也強調不會有任何negative impact......

這樣是不是代表我沒希望了呢?
我該怎麼補救呢??寫封信去拜託? 還是就是等待?

碰到這種問題，要怎麼回應才算是得體合宜呢?

建議你一定要主動爭取
台灣排不到人 就爭取香港 新加坡 上海 北京 泰國 日本...etc.
不然就親自跑一趟Durham(這樣一定可以interview)

我以前也收過Duke這樣的信，雖然他強調不會有影響，但我最後就是被reject了。

有面試當然比較有機會，所以盡量爭取囉。不過去年也有人沒經過面試就被Duke錄取，可見application package佔的比重還是挺大的。

喔...我是收到interview invitation, 然後他跟我說台灣沒有辦interview, 然後on-campus interview也已經滿了 ......
我又說那段時間我難得在美國是不是可以有機會過去, 然後說他們後來會release 少數interviews ....後來我去網站再check就有了 interview 只有一天2/21, 但是campus visit and Lunch tour可以選的還滿多的, 供你參考！

First congratulate to your interview invitation! I think it is a positive sign in this tough year and you somehow advance to another stage.

My interviewer is an alumnus now in the consulting firm. Most questions are covered in previous post and you can practice them beforehand. He also asked me some follow-up questions, such as what I think to be the most challenging issue or the most significant difference after I jumped into a different track. Unexpected questions will make you (yes, also made me) feel nervous but just be yourself and speak in a logic way (that is also hard to me). The overall atmosphere was quite good and I did not feel any pressure.

我投的是R1 那時候就沒有排到校友面試
不過學校幫我安排的是一位二年級的ambassador
或許你可以試試看 跟學校爭取在校ambassador面試

我碰到的問題和nexxt0722幾乎相同
但是時間掌控的不好 有的題目甚至沒講完便被打斷進行下一題
