In a survey of 200college graduates, 30 percent said they had received student loans during their college careers, and 40 percent said they had received scholarships. What percent of those surveyed said that they had received neither student loans nor scholarships during their college careers?

問題是, 第二個選項, 怎麼可能會有 50 percent ? 總共只有30%拿 loans, 40%拿scholarship, 然後有 50%兩個都拿? 遇到鬼還是我腦幹 :'(

原來是說那些拿到 loan 的人的 50%同時也有拿到 scholarship 啊，我以為是有全部的 50%拿到兩個，一直想說怎麼可能..(南陽影印店的版本旁邊還有小標-->ETS 真是偉大的令人難以置信:P)

請幫忙確認(1) 的部分思路一下
1)25 percent of those said that they had received scholarships but no loans.

40%-25%=15%
100%-30%-40%+15%=45%

scholarship 200*0.4=80
loans 200*0.3=60

1)0.25*200=50, 80-50=30 both get loans and sholarship
2) 60*0.5=30 both get loans and sholarship

received neither student loans nor scholarships during their college careers 200-(80+60-30)=90
