On a certain transatlantic crossing, 20 percent of a ship’s passengers held round-trip tickets and also took their cars abroad the ship. If 60 percent of the passengers with round-trip tickets did not take their cars abroad the ship, what percent of the ship’s passengers held round-trip tickets?

D. 60%
E. 66 (2/3) %

答案是C,我題目意思不大懂耶..覺得有點怪..

我們可以知道 60% 沒車 40%有車 在有round-trip tickets 的集合中
20 percent of a ship’s passengers held round-trip tickets and also took their cars abroad the ship.
而有 20% 有車 有 round-trip tickets 在全部乘客的集合中的集合中

40% 20%
---- = ----
100% X%
X=50
我這樣解釋不知道有沒有讓你瞭解

不過我還是有點亂呢...
是說全部的乘客裡有20%有round-trips tickets又有車
而有round-trips tickets的乘客中有60%沒有車
(隱含round-trips tickets的乘客中有40%有車)
問有round-trips tickets的乘客佔所有乘客的?%嗎
設有round-trips tickets的乘客為X
0.4X=0.2
這樣的解法對嗎???

是不是隱含80%有round-trips tickets 沒有車

那是我提問的啦!我自己想的..因為這題是我提的啊...所以真的很亂!!

『全部的乘客裡有20%有round-trips tickets又有車
是不是隱含80%有round-trips tickets 沒有車 』
我覺得不是隱含80%有round-trips tickets 沒有車!!
只是有T又有C的佔全部的20%
隱含80%的是其他 有T沒有C, 沒有T有C, 或沒有T也沒有C的...
希望有人懂我在說什麼哈哈哈

有 頭腦清楚的人可以救救我們嗎!!!!!

設擁有來回票的乘客有x人，全船有a人，圖形畫有R票和有C車的交集。
條件(1) 0.2a 個人同時有來回票也把車開上船 (交集部份)
條件(2) 0.6x 個人有來回票但沒有把車開上船 (R沒有交集的部份)

(1)和(2)聯集，就是全部有R的數量。

所以，0.2a+0.6x = x，題目要求 x/a，可算出是 1/2
