Treat it as a life-time investment (US$200K+ including opportunity cost) - try as many time as you can. It took me six years studying English and raise TOEFL from 217 to 280. I am confident you can do it in much shorter time.

To practice listening, try listen to online radio (such as NPR), rent American drama DVD (such as Trump's The Apprentice) or watch free online TV (eg. ESPN, Animal Planet, Disney (Teen Drama)) to learn American idioms ;-)

Just want to be straight. Don't take it as offensive words.

If you think TOEFL is such a unconquerable task, i won't suggest you applying top MBA programs. Life here is much tougher than you can imagine. If you can't understand the listening part of tofel, how could you understand the class and interact with you classmates here in US? Be more confident, you can make it.

I never thought TOEFL is a unconquerable task.I just fear that I do not have much determination to conquer it.Afetr all,improving listening is time-consuming.

如果真的害怕IBT的話~要不要試試看有一些不錯的學校但沒有言明要多少TOEFL成績~ 以你的GMAT GPA 和工作經驗再加上強有力的推薦信和ESSAY 應該還是有機會的....如果你確定要用247去申請的話...我覺得你的選校策略也是很重要的啦~我的一點點淺見啦加油囉!

申請過程的繁瑣正是時間管理最佳的試煉
只能儘力尋求自己的平衡之道了

我和evelyn_yeh有同樣的困擾, 也是AT在700以上, 但托福不到250, 因為考聽力實在無法專心啊, 考幾次都一樣
我想問的是, 只要學校言明托福min 250, 就真的沒機會了嗎？學校連面試的機會都不會給嗎？
