我對學校懷著感恩的心 但另一方面我也覺得我的錄取可以理直氣壯 因為我的事業目標與學校課程、地理位置 就是fit
It's my bad. I made a logical error here. This conclusion is weak.
For an applicant vs a school, "how fit", "why fit", and "why not fit" are all decided by Adcom, not by us. This is what I said, and I still consider it true.
While "The school fits me" seems to be a reasonable conclusion after an admission, it is actually a GUESS.
First, I cannot prove my fitness is true, nor can I prove it's untrue. Fitness is NOT measurable. It's not a number, a size, a weight...etc. It is just a feeling.
Second, it is ADCOM'S feeling, which I never KNOW, even today.
Third, I don't know how many percent "fitness" takes in an admission. It can vary to every individual's admission.
Fourth, the situation that the Adcom feel the school fits me cannot be the evidence that the school really fits me.
I am sorry, but I need to withdraw my conclusion that some schools REALLY fit me and others don't. This conclusion is not provable, does not have a reliable evidence, and is therefore a guess by itself.
My apologies.....
