正確答案是(C)

而我要問的是(B)選項，為什麼不對，ETS解釋如下：
B distorts the sentence’s meaning, stating that the
number of engineering degrees conferred increased on
more than two distinct occasions.
這是不是說Ｂ誤把兩倍的成長改成兩個分開的時間或事件？

但是我在字典上有查到一個例句：
Foreign investments there increased five times.
那裡的外國投資增加了五倍

也就是說
increase xx times應該是可以用的，難道問題是出在more than???

我不是行家 但是提供我自己的看法:
two time也不是說不對 在口語上可以這樣用
可是在GMAT的修辭規則中 two time他不夠簡潔
依照我做題的經驗 然果twice 或double 和two time出現在選項中
two time的選項幾乎是不選的 理由就是因為wordy
我想倒不是因為 more than修飾的問題吧!!
我記得OG好像還有關於two time和double的問題

所以wordy真的很重要嗎?...

其實我這幾天寫OG寫到又好氣又好笑
因為上老莫的課
都跟你講什麼被動being少選
還有刪到最後比較長短
結果光是聽他講的
最後就錯寫好多長句正確, 代名詞, etc...
甚至連being妖怪也出現過 =.=

剛開始我還會去記他的口訣
後來...我悟了...

說口訣的人
都是自己精心歸納再歸納
只有功力高的人才能跟ETS耍花槍
自己想耍
得把功力練強
參出一套本來
那才是真功夫啊~~~
