請問前輩LLM選校問題。（WUSTL,BU,USC）

各位前輩好

我是準備2007入學的LLM學生。我目的是：希望能在留學過程中加強英文的聽說讀寫能力，也有意願準備在畢業後，留半年準備NY Bar 的考試。對於日後攻讀JD或SJD沒有規劃。

很高興的，我有拿到(USC , Washington U in St. louis, and Boston U )的許可，這三家的排名順序如前，在20名左右。

我從來沒有去過美國，我對於Washington U in St. louis很有興趣，但是他的治安我很擔心，因為新聞報導他的治安很不好，是全美倒數第一。朋友推薦我可以去BU，他們說波士頓是個很美的城市。USC則是名氣很大的名校。

我想請問前輩們，基於希望能加強英文的聽說讀寫能力的考量，在那個學校唸書的學習環境會比較適合好好學法律英文？

NYBAR考試是二月底七月底, 如果你唸 LLM, 要有心理準備....
二月申請 OPT, 等五月畢業, if 七月底BAR一試槓龜, 留到次年二月底再搞第二次, 三月才可回台灣 (所以要多留10個月 )

學法律英文？ 呵~ 唸JD或進US事務所比較可能捷進吧

Boston, LA 生活費很高~ (only套房不含水電瓦斯cable..可達US$1200/mo., fyi)

私人建議：
(1)現在決定要去哪太早了吧，難不成其他學校都"全數摃龜"喔？
(2)台灣llm學生找工作interview機率趨近於零. but, if REALLY want to stay in US... USC>BU>WU

關於考bar,的確要考慮回台灣以後是不是有那個價值，以我的觀察的確不大，更加上您提到的要多花10個月，這怎麼算似乎都不划算，只是如果可以透過這種方式訓練自己，讓英文好一點，也許可以試試看，恐怕也是面對台灣現實工作環境時，台灣學生的重要誘因（到頭來，好像只是一種想拿到的情緒而已）。

至於您提到也許現在還太早，呵呵，我的確還有一些學校排名較前還沒回覆我，但我個人的預測，有機會大概只有一至二家。但主要因為這三家學校都要我先交deposit，這算一算，也是不少錢，我不想花不必要的錢，畢竟，要花的錢真得好多好多，USC更要500塊。

我應該不會留在美國工作，但您提到 USC>BU>WU 的說法，很明確，謝謝您。

I am really bothered about this delimma and change my decision even everyday.Haha. It really hard for me. But the newest is BU.

嘿! 眾位大哥,

這是個誤會, JDLLMJSD不是我, 我也不知道他是誰.

之前我把這個帳號借給我的一位朋友, 讓他看看傷咖的文章, 但他同時也發表了一些文章(都是英文的), 以表達他的看法, 這是我沒預料到的.

他申請的是Tax LLM, 也有很不錯的成績, 他的說法可能直接了點, 但未嘗不是一種良性的意見交流. 而就我所知, 他也不會發表像是JDLLMJSD的言論.

借帳號不太好, 不好意思, 這種事不會再發生了, 請各位繼續和平討論吧!
