1.American不能解釋為美國人(名詞),因為theme是非人,
而要解讀為美國(式)的(形容詞),因此前面要用副詞uniquely修飾

2.這是省略結構,因為子句的主詞相同,可以省略,當主詞省略,動詞就依主被動改成分詞,
而原有的連接詞在不影響句意的情況下也可以省略,但若連接詞有意義,例如表因果的
because,或表先後的after,則建議保留,這樣句意會比較完整!
