[選校] U of Maryland v.s U of Pittsburgh

原本明天就要付訂金給U of Pittsburgh了
今天早上卻收到U of Maryland的admission (但還沒收到package,學校應該不會最後晃點我吧)

未來想從事行銷相關領域，有很大可能是畢業後會回直接台灣(家庭因素)，但是也有可能會試著留在美國找工作(如果有機會的話)

1. 比較喜歡U of Maryland的location (在華盛頓DC，比Pittsburgh再大一點的城市)
2. 課程方面，U of Pittsburgh聽說marketing program還不錯。U of Maryland好像偏向Finance 和 IT。
3. 在台灣的名氣，如果未來回台灣的話，這兩間的學校名氣是否都差不多呢？
4. 費用的話，華盛頓DC的生活費似乎高些。
5. 美國就業的話，是否U of Maryland也比較好呢？畢竟城市較大

可以請大家給我ㄧ點建議嗎?

如果今天晚上可以決定的話 就省下一筆訂金(USD 1000)了
還是我應該先付訂金給U of Pittsburgh呢?

建議先給
然後與校友/同學接觸 同時從各方面了解兩校的差異
慢慢思考到底哪個學校會比較適合妳
畢竟這是未來兩年你要生活的地方

If you want to go back to Taiwan, the rank speaks itself. In US, international students have to try HARD for any opportunity; of course, the brand name helps a bit but guanrantees nothing. The only thing is: you should examine yourself first. I would say marketing is somewhat subjective, so is the course. List out some factors you want to get from MBA program, weight them and compare. You should have the most objective answer.
