Maybe start with taking a look at schools' statistics of gmat, say average, median, and range of 80%. Then you may GUESS whether your GMAT score may be a weakness while comparing to the WHOLE class. Notice that those figures include domestic and international students and international students USUALLY score higher. Moreover, I believe Taiwan applicants may be considered in the same pool. So you may ask current students from Taiwan about their GMAT RANGE. I think that will be helpful unless there is certain significant change of GMAT or of schools' recruiting strategies.
If you feel your GMAT score becomes a weakness, then you may start to think whether you are truly exceptional in other areas so that such a weakness can be ignored. If not, then retaking GMAT seems a better way. If yes and you are 100% sure, well, the question turns to whether you can ENJOY taking this risk and accept the final results regardless they are goo d or not... :)

With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day. -- "I Have a Dream", Martin Luther King, Jr.
