是不是省略了 by 呀? (using = by using)

意思是說因為by跟use不能同時使用,而using就已經有by的意思了嗎?

我覺得這一題"using"用法跟上面的天山3-38很像(難怪我覺得很眼熟)

我也不知道by是不是可以省略，但跟 天山3-38 比對起來，感覺by這個介係詞在題目好像比較無關緊要。

畢竟D選還是這五個選項中相對比較好的表達。

by / use 都是表方法 一起使用表redundancy
既然都是表方法 就沒有改變句意的意思

不過我都沒有看過這樣的用法~真是深奧!!!
有哪位大人提得出其他的題目有這樣的文法架構嗎?

by the use of 語意重複.
by using 是有這樣用的; OG 的解釋裡也經常看到這個用法.
排除 (C) 有兩條路.一是 OG 所說的改變句意,另一條路是不平衡. (i.e. by using..., not using, and by attracting...)

公式套完了,功力再上層樓,接下來可能就遇到 (D) (E) 決選:意思都對,也平衡.
(D) call... and attract...
(E) using... and attracting...
從原句下手是一個方法, (A) by the use of... and they attract 看出 by use 和 they attract 不平衡,原句沒有要平衡 use 和 attract, 據此排除 (E).
另外一個方法,是生為美國人,如 OG 的解釋,看出 rather than 和 but not 的區別: but not 不精確.(說實在,還真看不出來也!)
