[問題]關於省略型副詞子句..這題不是AT的題目..我自首...不過跟AT文法有關

(D) In trying

D是正確答案...不過我覺得A應該也是可以
我的想法是A是省略型副詞子句(莫北北上課教的)
原句 Because the physical anthropologist tries to....
改為 Because保留 主詞the physical anthropologist 省略
tries改 trying 因此變成答案(A)

請問各位前輩 小弟的盲點在哪裡?

因為參照OG-09
GMAT似乎不認同這類句型
(還是偶會錯意嚕... )
