我個人是覺得, 首先破折號後面有一大串舉例, 但是and meat rarely又有一次and重複, 感覺上不是跟那些例子平行, 應該是對應到largely vegetarian, 所以中間必定有個連接詞, 砍掉D...
接著, 如果用and連接應該變成兩句, 就該有動詞, 再斃掉A
B很怪, 句意變成肉很稀少, 但是這群人是vegetarian, 就是說素食的, 所以不是沒肉可吃, B也錯
C感覺很不對勁, 不是我想像中的英文, 於是我就選E了...
