17.A certain fraction is equivalent to 2/5. If the numerator of the fraction is increased by 4 and the denominator is doubled, the new fraction is equivalent to 1/3. What is the sum of the numerator and denominator of the original fraction?

原分數可以等於 2/5 所以假設 2t/5t ( 約分後還是等於 2/5)

按照後面的指示 => (2t+4) / 2*5t = 1/3

6t+12= 10t => 4t=12 => t=3 代回假設的式子

就可以得到原分數為 6/15

所以分子+分母的和 = 6+15=21

原先的比值: 2/5 = 2k/5k

題目說分子增加4,分母變為2倍時,原來的比值會變成1/3:
(2k + 4)/(2 * 5k) = 1/3
=> k = 3

所以原來的分數為 6/15, 分子加分母為11.

我一直認為最後的比值1/3是t/3t約分下來的結果
